Trio Settecento Performs in New York

On Friday, December 4, at 8:00pm, violinist Rachel Elizabeth Barton will be performing a concert of 17th and 18th Century German Baroque sonatas with the period instrument chamber group, Trio Settecento (John Mark Rozendaal on viola da gamba and baroque violoncello and David Schrader on harpsichord). The concert takes place at Columbia University's Miller Theater in New York City.

The trio is celebrating the release of our new CD, "A German Bouquet." Released in late September, the album features works by Bach, Pisendel, Muffat, Schop, Erlebach Buxtehude and Krieger.

Trio Settecento explores the magnificent chamber music of Bach and his German compatriots. The Chicago Tribune described the trio’s performance as "some of the most refreshing, life-enhancing Baroque playing heard in years."
