Colorado Symphony Orchestra with Yumi Hwang-Williams to perform Ravel's Tzigane

Douglas Boyd returns for another week of performances as the Principal Guest Condutor

For one of the most moving performances of the season, Principal Guest Conductor Douglas Boyd leads the orchestra in Elgar’s fourteen Enigma Variations, the ninth of which, “Nimrod,” remains one of the most well-known musical variations. Also on the program, Ravel’s colorful Le Tombeau de Couperin enlightens the evening along with solo performances by CSO Concertmaster Yumi Hwang-Williams (pictured) in Ravel’s Tzigane and Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending.

Enhance your concert experience with Colorado Symphony Preludes and TalkBacks, which are complimentary to ticket holders. Held one hour before each Masterworks performance, Preludes offer insight into the music and performers on each program. TalkBacks take place on select dates following the performance.
