Experience Charlie Chaplin with the Colorado Symphony This Weekend!

Two classic silent films for the price of one! This concert features two Chaplin films with the musical score played in synchronization by the Colorado Symphony. Join the Tramp and "Scraps," Chaplin's animal co-star in A Dog's Life, as Scraps helps the Tramp and Edna toward a better life. The Kid is a heart-string-tugging story Chaplin himself dubbed "a story with a smile–perhaps, a tear." The Kid was not only a turning point in Chaplin's career, it was also an immensely personal film.

Charlie Chaplin's influence on the evolution of the modern film was recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for his body of work when they honored the filmmaker by awarding him a second Oscar in 1972 for "the incalculable effect he has had in making motion pictures the art form of this century."
