Baltimore, Md. (November 5, 2009)— The Baltimore Symphony Associates host their annual holiday fundraiser, Symphony Homes for the Holidays, on December 10-12, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (and from 10:00 am. to 5:00 p.m. for the boutique). The tour starting point is The Summit Manor Conference Center in the Hereford Volunteer Fire Department located at: 510 Monkton Rd. in Hereford, Md. Each year, homeowners of historic and elegant homes throughout the greater-Baltimore region loan the use of the first floor to be decorated by local professional floral designers and talented amateur garden club members. The event also features specialty gifts sold at the boutique, located at the tour’s start point. Proceeds benefit the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s education programs.

Approximately 2,500 people annually attend this self-guided tour. Guests arrive at the tour starting point and receive a program book of all of the other featured homes. This year’s tour includes four private homes, as well as the Hereford Volunteer Fire Company and The Manor Tavern.
