"INCA DANCES" by Gabriela Lena Frank wins a Latin GRAMMY Awards for "Best Classical Contemporary Composition"

TONARMUSIC is proud to announce that "INCA DANCES" by Gabriela Lena Frank received the Latin GRAMMY Award as the Best Classical Contemporary Composition. The work's world-premiere recording is on the "SOUNDS OF THE AMERICAS" CD with guitarist Manuel Barrueco and Cuarteto Latinoamericano.

"INCA DANCES" was commissioned by the Baltimore Classical Guitar Society, with grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Peabody Conservatory of Music.
